Welcome to the Vale Players Amateur Drama Group website. Formed in 1990 and based in Snainton the Vale Players ADG perform plays and murder mysteries to audiences from the local Scarborough Area. We are a small group with a membership of about 30 cast and crew, but are always looking to expand wherever possible.
The Vale Players have once again being performing on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, appearing each Saturday evening during June 2011 with our latest murder mystery, Murder at the Cafe Liberte.
The action takes place in war time france, just after General Winkle had been blown up by an exploding konoodle. But who was the murderer? It was then the opportunity for the audience to try and pick their way through the clues to work out who dunnit, in between enjoying their meal and the stunning scenary of the North Yorkshire Moors.
This is the Vale Players fourth summer on the railway, and appreciate the NYMR request for us to return again in 2012. As with each year the Vale Players again decided to make a donation to a local group and this year decided to support the York Hospitals NHS Trust, Oral Cancer Team with a donation of £1000.
The Vale Players ADG Returns, and proudly presents their latest murder mystery The Case of the Dead Stripper. Join us for either on Saturday 18th Feb October at 7.30pm or Lunch on Sunday 19th February at 1.00pm.
